6 Week Beginners Yoga Course

 

Interested in starting a 6 week Beginners Yoga Course?

This will be a great opportunity for you to get a good solid foundation of yoga so that you can have a clear understanding of how to maintain a safe, comfortable and enjoyable practice, which is what yoga is all about.

The total cost for this course is $75.   Please contact me directly for payment details.

During the 6 weeks we will cover  everything you will need to know in order to feel confident in trying out different styles of yoga at various levels with the knowledge you have.  You will be shown the correct use of yoga props (blankets, blocks, straps etc) in order to support any injuries that you may be working with.

It is very important to know and understand how you can modify your practice to suit and support your needs, as to often students attend classes above their level and unfortunately don’t have the tools to be able to modify each pose (Asana) as required, leading to injury.

You will also learn a lot about breath awareness which is an invaluable tool for de-stressing, relaxing and re-connecting to your body and mind.

The environment is fun and relaxed with no pressure whatsoever.

The next course will be starting on the 5th of October, at the Prajna Tree yoga studio, Wakatu Car park, Nelson.

Thursdays at 5.15pm – 6.15 pm.

In order to run these courses numbers need to be confirmed 1 week before we commence, which will be the 28th of September.

There are mats and props available.  Please bring comfortable clothing and a water bottle.
