My Transformative Yoga Journey
My Yoga Journey...
Yoga has been a profound journey for me, one that has led me through intensive training and deep immersive experiences.
Embarking on my yoga teacher training (18 months, 6 days a week) back in 2000 was the beginning of my lifelong yoga journey. It has not only reshaped my life but also enriched my understanding of yoga beyond the mat. Yoga can be everything, depending on the intention behind your actions!
Whether you're considering a yoga teacher training (YTT) or a rejuvenating retreat, I would like to share my experience with you so you can take inspiration for your own path.
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training: The Foundation for Awakening.
My 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training was the beginning of a significant shift in my life. It gave me discipline, dedication, devotion, strength, flexibility, peace of mind, and a beautiful purpose, just to name a few.
This training wasn’t just about learning how to teach yoga— through understanding roots of this ancient practice, I was able to deepen my own self-awareness, returning "Home," back to "Self." This is an invaluable part of the training I am currently running.
Of course, my practice evolved, training 6 days a week for many years.
The training was intense, both physically and mentally. There were many days of exhaustion, moments of doubt, and the challenge of confronting my own limitations, which is perfectly normal when placed in an immersive situation. On the flipside, there were also breakthroughs—seeing and feeling how my body was getting stronger and more flexible, and my mind was more present and focused.
If you’re considering a 200-hour YTT, know this: it will change the way you approach yoga and your life and, therefore, positively affect those around you. The ripple effect...
After completing my training, there was no stopping me! I was off to explore and teach around the world, which has led me along the path or running international yoga retreats, as well as 200-hr and 100-hr yoga immersions in stunning locations.
