Stories behind the scenes…
Can you remember a time in your life when you had no fear? When you fully embraced the unknown and trusted in your journey?
This image depicts mine
A free spirit traveling around the world, living without fear, having no real plans, and trusting in my Dharma (my life's purpose).
Being in a place (spiritually) where I felt comfortable to fully surrender to what my fate was going to be, and hitching alone through South America, exploring the hidden gems of small pueblos (villages), it could've gone so many ways!
I truly believe I survived those journeys because I didn't have any fear.
Every village I arrived at, I would spend the days wandering through the Andes by myself, searching for depth and awakening. I would climb to high peaks, meditate, do yoga, Tai chi, and connect deeply to each and every moment.
I would ask all the questions,
"Who am I?"
"Why am I here?"
"How can I fully experience being the wave in the ocean?"
It was truly an incredible and very liberating experience.
I believe that this is the true path of yoga, to cultivate trust and acceptance in oneself. To tap into a sense of freedom that knows no bounds and to release the grip of fear that keeps us from living our dreams.
I was 25 in this image, which I took on a timer, and I'm so glad I did. I have it stuck to the wall so I can regularly see it and fully appreciate those magical adventures!
This is what I wrote on the back:
FREEDOM - FREEDOM - FREEDOM
I look for those of the soil. I look for those of the ocean. I search for the stargazers. I crave this with understanding. If you look within your soul. If you have opened your eyes and heart. Then may you appear before me on this journey I undertake...
Are you ready to embark on your transformative journey?
